Crain’s Chicago Business Highlights Student Designs for Fashion Benefit
On October 23 Crain’s Chicago Business covered designs by SAIC students showcased in a fashion show organized by the Woman's Board of Rush University Medical Center. “Taking Names” columnist Shia Kapos notes the October 18 event drew more than 600 guests to Chicago’s Palmer House Hilton. Featured student designers from the class of 2014 included Julia Chang, Bridget Crowe, Crystle Crubaugh, Blair Disbrow, Margaux Franco, Rosa Halpern, Ye Kuang, Yoojin Lee, Caitlin Trussell, and Amanda Vaeth. The 86thannual fashion show, the country’s longest running charitable fashion event, raised more than $500,000 to support digital mammogram technology.
