Chicago Architect Magazine Interviews AIADO Director

Recently appointed Director of the Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects Jonathan Solomon discussed his upcoming goals for the department with Chicago Architect Magazine. Citing the school’s “excellent international reputation in the fine arts,” Solomon hopes to foster an equally prominent recognition of SAIC’s design and architecture programs, “My role is helping to craft that identity, through programming, teaching and support of faculty, students and alumni, and ultimately to spread that identity around.”
