Art Center to Open in Chicago in Ed Paschke’s Honor

In honor of the late Ed Paschke’s 75th birthday, the Ed Paschke Foundation, in collaboration with the Rabb Family Foundation, is opening the doors to the Ed Paschke Art Center on June 22 in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Chicago. A famous Chicago Imagist, Paschke (BFA 1961, MFA 1970) began exhibiting in the 1960s, influencing artists such as Jeff Koons. According to the Hyperallergic, the Ed Paschke Art Center will feature a permanent Paschke collection, a recreation of his studio space, gallery space for short-term exhibitions, as well as art education programming and an artist-in residence.
