Dean of the Wellness Center Joseph Behen was one of the writers for the Inside Higher Education article, “All Eyes on Loneliness,” which spotlights student mental health.
Professor, Adj. William Harper won two awards at the Dallas Shorts Film Festival: the Best Experimental Short Award for Swwart Wovlve Wolve and the Best Music Video Award for "Banjo of Death Sleeping."
Lecturer Melissa Leandro was an exhibiting artist at the Dallas Art Fair 2024, as part of the Andrew Rafacz Gallery exhibition.
Professor William J. O’Brien’s solo exhibition, Freak Flags, is on view at Chicago gallery Ackerman Clarke through May 18. The exhibition features O’Brien’s large-scale colored pencil and ink drawings. O’Brien also released his debut novel, Nighttime Kingdom.
Associate Professor Kristin Mariani and students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Fashion department appeared on WGN's Spotlight Chicago to discuss sustainability in fashion in light of this year's Earth Day.
