Alumna Prefaces Major Public Work with MCA Lecture

WBEZ highlighted an upcoming lecture by SAIC alumna Amanda Ross Ho (BFA 1998) and Pamela Alper Associate Curator Julie Rodrigues Widholm at the MCA. On July 23 the pair will discuss the inspiration, background, and construction behind THE CHARACTER AND SHAPE OF ILLUMINATED THINGS, which explores the similarities between photography and the act of seeing. The work is Ross Ho’s first outdoor public art project and the third iteration of the MCA Chicago Plaza Project.
