SAIC on the “Insider's Guide" to EXPO Chicago

Art critic Jason Foumberg (MA 2006) highlighted SAIC’s special exhibition at EXPO CHICAGO curated by alumna Amanda Ross-Ho (BFA 1998) in “Eye Exam: Insider’s Guide to Expo Chicago,” featured in the September 17 edition of Newcity. The show features student work hand-picked by Ross-Ho from a body of candidates nominated by SAIC faculty. Exhibited MFA students from the graduating class of 2014 included Larissa Borteh, Jessica Campbell, Angharad Davies, Guy Eytan, Kevin Kalay, William James McGuinness, Orr Menirom, Patrick John Segura, Sanaz Sohrabi, Spencer Stucky, Keijaun Thomas, Mike Jeffrey Rubin, Hsineyn Cynthia Wei, and Hyounsang Yoo. Ross-Ho’s major outdoor public installation, The Character and Shape of Illuminated Things, remains exhibited on the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago Plaza through November.
