Emotionally Distressed Students: How Faculty and Staff Can Help

Most distressed or troubled students who come to Counseling Services do so on their own. Faculty and staff members who have frequent contact with students can also identify troubled students and assist them in obtaining appropriate help. Emotionally Distressed Students—How Faculty and Staff Can Help is a reference guide created by Counseling Services to provide SAIC faculty and staff members with guidelines about referring students to Counseling Services.
