SAIC Features Food for Thought as its Campus Food Vendor

After a year of vendor reviews, a committee of students, faculty, and staff unanimously selected Food for Thought as SAIC’s campus food service vendor. Food for Thought is dedicated to promoting sustainable and healthy eating while showcasing organic, fair trade, and local ingredients. The company also meets SAIC’s requirement of offering plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Food for Thought is locally owned and has been in business since 1983. It has 18 Chicagoland locations including several colleges and cultural institutions. Nancy Sharp, Food for Thought’s President commented on our partnership, “as stewards of the environment, it is our mission to work hand-in-hand with SAIC to achieve your community and environmental goals.”
