Commencement: Graduation Checklist

• Verify your degree requirements in the Portal
  Go to Current Students, and click "Self-Service" under Quicklinks. Click "My Academics" and then "View my unofficial transcript."
  For questions or concerns about your degree requirements or completing your degree, please contact an Academic Advisor at 312.629.6800 as soon as possible.
• File your graduation application
  Contact the Registration and Records office (Sullivan Center, 36 South Wabash Avenue, suite 1210 or 312.629.6700) to complete your Graduation Application [PDF]. Applications are due by April 1, 2013.
• Arrange to receive your diploma
  Verify the contact information on your graduation application, as diplomas will be mailed to the address on the application. If you wish to pick up your diploma at the Registration and Records office, please notify them by May 16, 2013. Diplomas will be available for pick-up in June.
• Clear all financial holds
  Outstanding fees (e.g., tuition balance, library/media center fines) must be cleared before you receive your diploma. Check your financial status at Current Students, and click "Self-Service" under Quicklinks.
• Pick up your Alumni identification card
  Visit the ARTICard office (Sharp Building, 37 South Wabash Avenue, suite 211) in May to pick up your membership card. For any questions, call 312.499.4195.
• Plan for post-graduation
  Check out the Career + Co-op Center's resource database or contact their office (Sullivan Center, 36 South Wabash Avenue, suite 1203 or 312.629.6820) to schedule an appointment.
