Teacher Programs: Faculty
Zach Pino is a SAIC Continuing Studies instructor and teaches digital art and design courses for the Children’s, Middle School, Early College and Adult Continuing Education Programs. He received a BA degree in 2008 from the University of Chicago in Linguistics and Medieval History and a Diploma of Completion from the University of Athens, Greece. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Design degree in the Designed Objects Program at SAIC. He has been a visiting artist at a number of Chicago Public Schools, the Art Institute of Chicago Museum, and the Block Museum at Northwestern University. Zach Pino co-authored the Teacher Institute in Digital Arts Learning (TIDAL) Google Community Grant proposal.
Selena Jones is a SAIC Continuing Studies faculty member and teaches studio and digital arts courses for the Middle School and Adult Programs. She received her MFA degree in 2012 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an emphasis in sculpture and her BA in Studio Art from Knox College in 2008. She also teaches digital arts courses at Westwood College in Chicago and is working to bring innovative arts programming to schools in South America and Haiti. She has exhibited her work and collaborative projects in galleries throughout Chicago. She co-authored the Teacher Institute in Digital Arts Learning Google Community Grant.
