Teacher Programs: TICA Application
Teachers are encouraged to submit completed applications by Friday, April 26, 2013 for priority consideration. All applications must be received by Friday, May 24, 2013.
Note: Applicants that submit materials by the priority deadline will receive notification by Friday, May 10, 2013. All others will receive notification by Friday, May 31, 2013.
Complete applications must include the following:
- Completed Teacher Institute in Contemporary Art (TICA) Application Form [PDF]
- Completed Teacher Programs Housing Application Form [PDF] (optional)
- Statement of interest in attending the Teacher Institute in Contemporary Art—200 word limit
- Current Résumé/CV
- 4-6 digital images of your studio work with title, medium, dimensions, and date included
TICA requires a significant investment—both by participants and Continuing Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Though discouraged, cancellations will be accepted two weeks prior to the start of the program. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to email@example.com and include the student's name, ID number, and session. Upon receipt, a review of applications will be done and a replacement identified if possible. Cancellation requests received less than two weeks prior to the start of the program may result in a cancellation fee.
