Adult Programs: Campus Housing: Summer
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) has space available in one of its premiere facilities, 162 North State Street Residences. Located in the heart of the city, this building also houses the Gene Siskel Film Center and is directly across from the Chicago Theatre. Each loft-style room has a private bath and kitchenette, with a full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, and stove, and comes equipped with both cable and wireless Internet. These generous accommodations boast 11-foot ceilings with track lighting, ample closet space, and large windows with views of Lake Michigan or the Chicago Loop. They are each furnished with an extra-long twin bed, drafting table, and chair.
Continuing Studies students-at-large may apply for housing at the 162 North State Street Residences for the duration of any 3-week or 6-week degree program course in which they are enrolled at SAIC. Students must register prior to applying for housing. Applicants must submit a completed application form, signed housing contract, and prepayment in the amount of $150 in the form of a check or money order payable to SAIC. Materials can be directed to:
