The School of the Art Institute of Chicago's (SAIC) Skill-Building Workshops for middle school students provide a rigorous foundation in materials and techniques to add skill and craft to creative insights. Whether their interests are in drawing characters or creating in their own imaginative style, our courses are designed to broaden students' education so they can be successful in a high school-level art program and beyond.
