SAIC has offered courses for children since 1883. Today, the Division of Continuing Studies and Special Programs' YAS for children age 3 through 8th grade offers students a unique opportunity to study in one of the Nation's top art and design schools. Our students visit the galleries of The Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) for artistic inspiration. This unique access to many of the world's most prized works of art combined with our excellent faculty makes our program stand out from the rest.
