Never Fear―CAPX is Here!
It’s never too early to start thinking about life after SAIC, and we're here to help you at each step of your creative career path.
Student Advising and CliftonStrengths®
CAPX staff and our team of Faculty Career Advisors offer highly personalized coaching sessions to help students develop and implement their career and job search strategies.
Our advisors can also help you discover your "Superpowers" via CliftonStrengths®, an assessment designed to help you learn your dominant talents and the ways in which you naturally think, feel, and behave as an individual. CliftonStrengths® are especially useful in forming your job search strategies, managing group projects, and charting your career path.
Want to stop by for a quick, 15-minute check-in to review your résumé or other professional materials? Our drop-in hours are from 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, in the CAPX offices on the 14th floor of the Lakeview Building.
Better Interviews with Big Interview
Big Interview is a no-stress, virtual mock interview platform for all experience levels, offering practice and feedback 24/7 from the privacy of your dorm or studio.
Our new Big Interview Tips series, filmed at CAPX and featuring SAIC faculty and staff offering their valuable job interview advice, is intended to demystify the often intimidating interviewing process for students and alums.
