Q: How do I request a transcript?

Q: Do I still have access to the Career and Professional Experience (CAPX) office?

A: SAIC Alumni with a valid alumni ID card are eligible to meet with a career adviser by making an appointment in advance. For more information, visit the CAPX page.

Q: How do I update my postal and email addresses with Alumni Relations?
A: Email the Office of Alumni Relations at email@example.com to update your current contact information and to ensure that you continue to receive news, events, and announcements from the school. You may also call 312.499.4195 and leave a message with your updated information.
Q: I have an upcoming exhibition/event/achievement that I would like to promote to the SAIC community. How do I share my news item?
A: saic.edu/alumni features social media integration, an interactive platform enabling you to share updates in your own voice. When you share news on your public social media pages (via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) and tag your post with #saicalumni, your update will automatically appear on our feed.
Alumni and campus news is also frequently posted to the alumni Facebook page. Those living in regions across the country can join our alumni group pages on Facebook to share and learn about upcoming exhibitions and local opportunities.

Q: How can I access SAIC buildings as an alum? Is there an alumni ID card?
A: If you have completed your degree, you can receive an alumni ID card. To obtain your alumni card, bring your government-issued ID and stop by the ARTICard Office located at 37 South Wabash Avenue, 2nd floor. *This process must be done in person.

The alumni card grants access to the Sharp Building (37 South Wabash Avenue), Sullivan Center (36 South Wabash Avenue), and Lakeview Building (116 South Michigan Avenue). Advanced notice of your visit and permission from a staff or faculty member is required in order to access the Columbus Building (280 South Columbus Drive) and MacLean Center (112 South Michigan Avenue).
Q: Can I still access the Launch Job Database as an alum?
A: Yes, but access to SAIC Launch is limited to current students and degree-holding alumni only.
To access SAIC Launch:
Visit SAIC Launch and log-in using your username (Student ID number) and password. If you know your username but don't remember your password, you can request your password to be reset and emailed to you. It will be sent to the email address in your Launch profile. *CAPX will not give out passwords over the phone. New Users must click on the tab "Register" and fill in the fields. Your "SAIC ID number" is your PeopleSoft student ID number and must be used as your Launch username.
