Alumni Card
Your alumni card, with a photo ID, is required for many of the benefits below. Your alumni card identifies you as a special member of SAIC's community, granting you access to many activities and discounts at SAIC and its related programs. 

To get your alumni card, stop by the ARTICard Office located in the Sharp Building at 37 South Wabash Avenue, room 254.

Hours:
Monday and Tuesday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Wednesday through Friday: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Building Access
Alumni can access the Sharp Building (37 South Wabash Avenue), Sullivan Center (36 South Wabash Avenue), and Lakeview Building (116 South Michigan Avenue). Advanced notice of your visit and permission from a staff or faculty member is required in order to access the Columbus Building (280 South Columbus Drive) and MacLean Center (112 South Michigan Avenue).

The Art Institute of Chicago
Recent graduates receive a one-year, free membership to the Art Institute of Chicago. For subsequent years, receive 25% off a one-year membership at the Member, Member Plus, and Premium Member levels with your alumni card. *Not valid with other discount offers

Gene Siskel Film Center
With your alumni card, receive a $5 discount on a one-year membership to the Gene Siskel Film Center. You must show your alumni card to receive this discount. The Film Center is located at 64 North State Street.

Career and Professional Experience (CAPX)
The Career and Professional Experience (CAPX) office offers job listings, workshops, and one-on-one career advising to SAIC degree-seeking students and alumni who have completed their degrees. Members of the alumni community are also invited to access the SAIC Launch jobs database.

Service Bureau
With your alumni card and using ARTICash, take advantage of SAIC’s professional Advanced Output Center, specializing in laser printing and large format ink-jet printing. The Service Bureau is located on the 11th floor of the Sharp Building at 37 S. Wabash Avenue, room 1111. *All orders must be made in person, no shipping service available.

Cash can be added to your ARTICard at the VTS machine on the 2nd Floor of the Sharp Building at 37 South Wabash Avenue. Checks or credit card can be used at the ARTICard office in room 254 of the Sharp Building.

Library
With your alumni card, you have access and borrowing privileges at SAIC’s John M. Flaxman Library. Your alumni card and a museum pass or membership card also grants you access to the Ryerson and Burnham Libraries at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Continuing Studies Courses Discount
SAIC alumni and their dependents are eligible for a 25% discount on tuition for Continuing Studies adult program courses. Alumni must have a valid SAIC Alumni Card and must present a photocopy of their Alumni card with their registration form at the time of registration, no exceptions. This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount (e.g. AIC Museum Member Discount) and cannot be used by SAIC students enrolled in a degree program.
