James Wetzel

Illinois Territory Manager

I am a Chicago based artist and musician. I received my BA from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where I studied German and Philosophy. After living in Berlin, Germany, for a year, I relocated to Chicago where I completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My artwork combines technology, craft, and sound and deals mainly with electro-acoustic sculpture and percussive analog modular synthesis. My musical output takes shape mostly in the form of solo drum/synth performance.
