Faculty-led Study Trips
SAIC faculty members are the driving force behind the conceptualization, development, and running of SAIC Study Trips. Those interested in the possibility of developing and leading a study trip should review the following resources:

The Proposal Process for faculty-led study trips is a two-part process. The next round of proposals are for 2018 winter and summer study trips. Part 1 of the proposals are due September 15, 2016.

Approval and Next Steps
Faculty are notified regarding decisions on their initial proposals by October 15. Once Part 1 has been approved by the
Dean's Selection Committee, you have six weeks to develop and submit Part 2.
Refer to the guide for information regarding the following documents required for Part 2:

- Proposal Itinerary Worksheet [DOCX]
- Proposal Course Syllabus [DOCX]
- Study Trip Budget Worksheet [XLSX]
- 10 images—High-resolution, non-copyrighted for promotional purposes
Please submit these items to Study Abroad firstname.lastname@example.org by December 1. For examples of trip itineraries, syllabi, or budgets, please contact Study Abroad.
