Millenium Park at Cloud Gate (the Bean)
Fresh from his solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, artist and sculptor Faheem Majeed will enact a performance that brings tribute to the late Dr. Margaret Burroughs, artist, poet, educator, and founder of Chicago's DuSable Museum.
The performance will take place at ROCK, designed by Kunlé Adeyemi as part of the Chicago Architecture Biennial. ROCK will be a pop-up pavilion—a public sculpture—that will eventually be installed in Montrose Beach.
Public programming for ROCK is created by the Arts Administration and Policy program, produced in partnership with the Earl and Brenda Shapiro Center for Research and Collaboration.
