POST / NATURAL: Call for Submissions

In April of 2017 The Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection will host an exhibition focusing on artistic production in relation to the Anthropocene, post-natural landscapes, ecology, environmental activism, alternative geology and geography, and disruptions of the nature / culture divide. The exhibition will include a display in the Sharp 5th floor hallway vitrines, a satellite library in the reading room, a series of lectures, performances, and screenings, and a small culminating publication.

While artists’ publications from the JFABC will provide the backbone for the exhibition, we are seeking contributions from students, faculty, and alumni ~ especially in the format of events (lectures, performances, screenings, temporary installations, etc.) and contributions to the publication. Work will also be considered for the hallway vitrines and satellite library.
