Ruth Margraff's Live Research Performance is the next iteration of her collaborative installation with Andrea Myers in the Faculty Projects exhibition. She will perform with Nikos Brisco, co-founder of their ensemble, Café Antarsia. The performance is part of a series of studio visits between SAIC faculty and visiting faculty from the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan. Faculty from both schools will participate in a College Art Association conference panel which is intended to bring together artists, designers, and cultural practitioners who have an interest in further articulating the particular research cultures that emerge and evolve in relation to contemporary art and design practices.
Ruth Margraff is the Chair and Associate Professor for the Writing Department.
