PTDW Graduate Lecture Series: Yuji Kumon

Monday, February 26th, 2018, 12:15 p.m.
Location: Columbus #319

Yuji Kumon (b.1981, Osaka) is a painter and mixed-media artist who explores experimental processes by employing different media and materials. His works illustrate various contradictions, such as simplicity vs. complexity, ephemerality vs. perpetuity, and completeness vs. incompleteness. Through various approaches, his work presents the space between these dichotomies and breaks away from preconceived visual language.
