Richard Aldrich was born in 1975 in Hampton, Virginia, and received his BFA from Ohio State University in 1998. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. His work has been exhibited across the United States and Europe.  Most recently, his works has been featured in solo exhibitions at the SFMoMA in San Francisco, and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.  Aldrich’s work was included in the Whitney Biennial in 2010 and has shown institutions including Palais De Tokyo in Paris, Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea in Santiago de Compostela, Sculpture Center in New York, Midway Contemporary Art Center in Minneapolis and P.S.1 Center for Contemporary Art in Long Island City among many others.
