Kim Fisher lives and works in Los Angeles. She has had solo exhibitions at International Art Objects, Los Angeles; Shane Campbell, Chicago; Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, Santa Barbara; The Modern Institute, Glasgow, Scotland; Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Recent group exhibitions include: Michelle Grabner, Amanda Ross-Ho, Kim Fisher, Chris Bradley, and Lisa Williamson, Shane Campbell Gallery (2012); Chasm of the Supernova, curated by Adam Miller, Center for the Arts Eagle Rock (2012); California Abstract Painting, curated by James Hayward, Woodbury University (2012); New Art for A New Century: Contemporary Acquisitions, 2000–2010, organized by Karen Moss, Orange County Museum of Art (2010). She received her BA from University of California, Los Angeles in 1996 and her MFA from Otis College of Art and Design in 1998. She has taught at UCLA, California College of Arts and Crafts (San Francisco) and has been Adjunct Faucilty in Graduate Studies at Art Center College of Art and Design in Los Angeles since 2004.
