Kevin Carr, born 1990 in Canandaigua, NY, holds his BFA from the NYSCC at Alfred University and is a 2018 MFA candidate in the Painting and Drawing department at SAIC. His work has been exhibited at the Rochester Contemporary Arts Center in Rochester, NY, the Lumber Room in Portland, OR, and the Rocky Neck Art Colony in Glouster, MA. Through material explorations, color theory, and serendipitous relationships Carr looks to answer the question, "What is Queer Painting?"
