Alex Hubbard lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He has studied at the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, New York and earned his BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. His most recent solo exhibitions include Bent Paintings (why horses paint) at Galerie Eva Presenhuber (2012) and Alex Hubbard, Hammer Projects at The Hammer Museum (2012). Recent group exhibitions include Some Dreamers of the Golden Dream, Greene Naftali, New York, Standard Escape Routes, Standard Gallery, Oslo, Norway, and Paint Things, deCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA.
