The Eye and Ear Clinic will be screening artist Robert Campbell's experimental, feature-length digital film, Pulchrior in Luceand, and will also have discussion on his theoretical, practical, and compositional underpinnings as well as his latest three-channel installation, Interval Two.
Robert Campell works in video art, digital media, video installation, and documentary filmmaking. Since 1984, his single-channel video art work has been exhibited at exhibitions and festivals in the United States, Europe, and Japan. His installation, video/dance collaborations, and digital media work has been featured at museums, art centers, performance venues, and festivals throughout the United States. He has produced documentaries in the United States, Italy, Ukraine, Zambia, and South Africa, with excerpts of his work in Africa selected for the Journey to Planet Earth series on the PBS network.
